We hoped to avoid pies at lunch, just before this historical re-enactment. But the pies were tasty.
This made our shirts slightly tighter and our pace a step slower. We relished the challenge. We also relished relish, which was added to the pies for taste.
Our crowd was smaller than the ’86 World Cup Quarter-Final in Mexico City, but they were pumped for the Argentina versus England flashback.
As always, thanks to the Green Man (Grassy Noel) for helping.
This campaign won gold at the Loeries, and made us all stiff.
